The Garden Suite at the Little Inn at Bayfield is truly unique, an exclusive suite in the heart of our nineteenth century stage coaching inn with its own porch overlooking the Inn’s private garden.
It is truly a room for all season, with fresh spring garden views, natural shade for hot summer days, and a gas fireplace for cozy snuggles in the depth of winter.
Formally part of the Inn’s reception rooms welcoming tired travellers on the stage coach route from Sarnia to Goderich, the Garden Suite combines historic features and atmosphere with modern facilities and comfort.

“This place is a real gem! The bed was super comfy and the room was absolutely delightful. Some things are showing their age, like chairs but I loved it!!! Staff is friendly and seem to care. What more can you ask for? How about a great meal? Not to worry!! The food is beyond delicious. Every choice the chef makes from offerings to how precisely food is cooked to their presentation. It is just so skillfully done. Hats off to the chef!!! You can’t get better and we travel to France and Italy often enough! We are accustomed to good food. Definitely coming back!”

“We had a wonderful dinner out. Our server was Rob who was very friendly and attentive. The drinks and food were delicious. I had the short rib and my wife had the veggie special. Since we were celebrating, we even shared all 3 desserts, which were out of this world. Given the time of year, we were also very keen to hear the ghost stories from this old historical building. The pace is relaxed and comfortable. The setting is a throwback to a simpler time when this inn was a stop for the horse-drawn stage coaches. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very attractive and a large, comfortable space.”
