A Little Inn event begins with a strong sense of place. From an intimate dining room for 12 to a spacious banquet hall for 80, each of our function rooms is rich in historic charm. From a room centred on a stone hearth to a room with expansive windows overlooking gardens, we have a space with the character to complement your event. And, during fine weather, our beautiful, private gardens are picturesque backdrops for ceremonies or parties. Some wedding ceremonies have taken place in our town park with its fine views over Lake Huron.

Memorable dining is at the heart of every banquet or party held at the Little Inn. The Four Diamond Award is just one indication of the quality of the dining experience we offer. Each menu is a unique creation—a blend of the skills of our culinary team, the seasonal bounty of local fields, forests and waters, and the preferences of the hosting family. The guest accommodations at the Little Inn have also been honoured with a Four Diamond award. Many of our 29 rooms and suites have large whirlpool tubs and gas fireplaces. Unique beds, custom-made duvets and antique furnishings create attractive, bright and exceedingly comfortable accommodation. We know that there are many people involved in a successful bridal event of any kind. We’ve put together a list of local officiants, churches, florists and others that you can contact during your planning. In addition, our staff includes experienced wedding planners that can help with table accents and seating arrangements, floral deliveries and wine selection.

The Little Inn is affiliated with the Sapphire Spa, located in an historic building just across the street. Spa experiences for the bridal party are understandably popular—the group has some wonderful social time while they prepare in advance for the ceremony. And speaking of bridal party togetherness, some of the happiest weddings have been when the wedding, ceremony and guests take over the whole inn for a weekend. We have found that usually the bride's family, bridesmaids and friends and the groom's family, groomsmen and friends have never met, after a weekend friendships and bonds have been made and it has been great fun to see this occur as a result of the interacting in the village and taking part in all activities together.
