In 1998 The Little Inn received the first
AAA/CAA Four Diamond Restaurant Award to accompany its
eight consecutive Four Diamond Lodging Awards. Add to this
the Wine Spectator " Award of Excellence " for
the past five years and we have found the best recipe
for fine dining and wining . Our use of produce from the
area's fields, forest, lakes and streams is a tribute
to the excellent quality of our restaurant's dishes.
Menus for every group are discussed and
planned in accordance with tastes and budgets. For groups
over ten we suggest set menus, starting the day with a
breakfast buffet with hot dishes to order . Wine tasting
dinners, with specific vintages and menus are popular;
also visits to the wine cellar for a tasting or on the
beach or river side BBQ picnics are frequent requests.
Other "free time" programs have included gourmet
cooking sessions, wine tasting seminars and hikes to seek
fiddleheads and exotic mushrooms or trips to a venison
farm or a sugar bush.
The dining room is open for breakfast, lunch
and dinner year round. Working lunches are easily arranged.
Choose from a selection of beverages and light foods for
refreshment breaks. The Inn's snug bar is a meeting place
and conversation centre as well it stocks the finest selection
of single malts, aged rums, vintage ports and specialty
brandies in Southwestern Ontario.
