The Little Inn of Bayfield presents the 12th year of the VQA winemaker wine and dine series. The Little Inn, located on Ontario 's West Coast actively seeks out high quality Ontario winemakers to showcase select vintages while pairing their wines to a six course dining experience. The winemaker series occurs select Saturday evenings until December 2005.

Winemakers from Ontario VQA wineries share their intimate knowledge with Chef Jean Jacques Chappuis to create a menu that reflects the notes of the wine with the tastes of the food. The winemaker creates an atmosphere of wine appreciation, heightening wine knowledge for their guests and explaining the intricacies of each glass.

The Little Inn of Bayfield vehemently supports regionalism for food and wine. Chef Chappuis strives hard to find local ingredients when designing his wine and dine menus. He has the same philosophy to wine, “wine that is developed in Ontario , by smart people, will always be welcome on my table.” Winemakers and Chef Chappuis, although in different fields of study agree in the fact that local tastes better.

The winemaker series runs select Saturdays until May 2006 , packages start at $587.00 for a two night weekend stay including the wine event and full, hot country breakfasts. Or $395 for One Night Saturday (May to November)
