Dine With Us - Introduction

The pleasures of the table and of the cellar are central to everything we do here at the Little Inn. From an active calendar of wine and dine events to our culinary workshops and award-winning cuisine, guests continue to discover unique dining experiences.

From the lakes, streams, farms and fields of Huron County and under the creativity of our Chef, our imaginative mouth-watering menus are continually refreshed. The kitchen is committed to featuring the best country-grown and raised products from Huron County - the "breadbasket" of Ontario. Highlights this season include confit of fois gras and quail, tiger shrimp risotto and chocolate chestnut marquise, to list just a few of the exceptional offerings at the table.

Our wine cellar enjoys a wide and loyal audience, winning the coveted Wine Spectator Award of Excellence annually since 1994. Wine is enjoyed with meals, of course, but can be enjoyed for its own merit...on the verandah, at the bar or in the parlours.

The dining rooms are open for breakfast from 8AM to 10AM. A continental breakfast can be served to your guest room from 8AM. Lunch is served from noon until 2:30PM. The Bar Menu is available all day. Afternoon tea is served between 3PM and 5PM daily. With two hours notice, we can prepare a picnic for your day tripping adventures. Dinner is normally served from 5PM until 9PM (although there are seasonal variations). In order to provide our house guests with their preferred dining time and choice of table, we suggest that a booking be made in advance. If you would like to have dinner in your room, please advise the dining room before 4PM.

"Sitting near the big windows in the inn's brick and pine heritage room, and eating rather fine food, one imagines that rural Canada has at last caught a whiff of the good life."
